zovirax ointment is not immediately clear to shorten the time of healing though. I would say that was from the moment it clearly would be 5 days or more. Me too, if I'm in the sun, I think healing Abreva (over the counter med) faster than zovirax, just my opinion! You can also use an oral medication called Valtrex to keep the faster clean.
